Hello everyone! Welcome to Blonde Girl Writing Blog, where I share about faith, writing, and reading.
Today, I want to introduce you to a supporting character from my novel, BULLETPROOF!
"I'd rather die on my feet than live on my knees." Graciela Florez
Graciela Florez is an eighteen-year-old girl who lives in a house in Northern Mexico with her large family.

Graciela has a olive complexion, bright brown eyes, and long dark hair that she normally braids. She is definitely the mom of any group, but she is a good leader and a kind person. Many people also come to her when they need someone to listen to them, or someone to give them good advice. Graciela has an amazing fashion sense, and even designs and creates her own clothes, which she hopes to sell one day.
Graciela lives in a large house in Northern Mexico with her parents, both sets of grandparents, an aunt and uncle, two younger siblings, and five cousins. Her parents are Linda and José Florez; her grandparents are Miguel and Sophia; her aunt and uncle are Almira and Jasper; her siblings are Luis (12) and Adrian (5); and her cousins are Javier (15), Gabriel (11), Marisol (7), Diego (4), and Isabela (2). Her house is always loud and crazy, with people constantly coming and going. Her mother, aunt, and grandmother all cook, and Graciela often helps with meals, being the oldest of both her siblings and cousins.
Graciela hopes to lead her family to God one day, though so far they have been resistant to her pleas, except for Javier. She also wants to open her own clothes shop, creating modest yet cool clothing and shining the light of Jesus as she does. However, her own doubts and fears often get in the way. Graciela feels as though she is too weak and dumb to lead others to God when she hardly knows anything herself.
So, let me know below: what do you think about Graciela? Do you have any questions about her?
Thanks for reading! Hope you enjoyed meeting Graciela!
Best wishes,
Jonah
